Welcome to Helen's blog!

As a harpist in New Orleans for over thirty-five years, I have accumulated countless stories and witnessed so many beautiful moments. I have been invited to participate in some of the most significant days of people's lives, from weddings to memorial services to 50th anniversary parties to exclusive private affairs.

I look forward to chronicling some of these adventures here for you on my new blog, in addition to offering tips for planning a wedding, thoughts and stories about being a musician in the New Orleans area, and best modes of practice in communicating with musicians to get exactly what you want for your special day. Also, I hope to share some of my passion and love for music with my fans and followers (especially those dear subscribers on my YouTube channel!), and anyone who has ever had his or her heart touched by a song.
